Great experience at Transmission Doctor and Auto Care. Honest, knowledgeable, and considerate staff. I left feeling like my car was handled perfectly. The issues that were corrected were necessary, the prices were very fair, and my car is safe and healthy. I am so grateful that I found this place!

Transmission Doctor saved our vacation. We are so grateful that if our van had to break down, it broke down when we took an exit for lunch in Alachua, Florida. We had to rent a car to continue on our trip but they knew that it would have been a real hardship on our family if the vehicle hadn't been fixed by the end of the vacation when we could drive back through Alachua to pick it up, so they made it happen. They also thought we needed a new starter, and we agreed to that additional repair over the phone, but when they went in to do that part of the repair, they discovered a lose wire and fixed that and let us know that they wouldn't need to replace the starter after all. This is an honest company that cares about customers--even customers who live hundreds of miles away and obviously aren't likely to be back! If we were local to Alachua, you can bet that we would be loyal to Transmission Doctor.

I am really thankful for Transmission Doctor. I have taken my cars there for the last few years, and have found them to be a competent and fair repair shop. I had the transmission re-built in my Honda over 3 years ago, and it has not had any issues since then. There have been multiple other occasions where they applied an inexpensive fix where other shops would have probably prescribed something much more costly. They are not a "cheap shop", but I know I have saved money by using them.

From North Alabama passing through when I started having major transmission problems. These guys where very helpful in finding and diagnosing the problem. And although they didn't do the repairs the quality of workmanship they showed me was one of a kind. Very friendly and helpful staff and I'd recommend to anyone

This is a clean beautiful shop and reception area, great customer service and experience, they checked my entire car over and recommend preventive maintenance, I knew I haven't maintained my car very well in the past, they showed me the problem areas and explained in detail as to why I need to do a better job on keeping my vehicle maintained better. I love this place. I definitely recommend this place if you plan on keeping your car.
