We had such a great experience with this transmission shop. From the moment we called, the person on the phone was incredibly friendly, patient, and genuinely willing to help. It felt like talking to someone who treats you like family, not just another customer. They went above and beyond to point us in the right direction and made a stressful situation so much easier. We’re truly grateful for their kindness and highly recommend them.

Bill is not only professional, but very personable as well. I had gone to 2 transmission shops prior and did not feel confident in their technical abilities. I was told my transmission was terminal, but Bill proved it otherwise. I must say his diagnostic and repair skills are second to none.

I am writing a review today because I wanted to share how great this company has been to me and my family. I am a Marine Corps veteran and a Registered Nurse. I have a family and quite busy lives. My cars are old and touchy, but it is often very inconvenient when they start to make noises or just break down. I would struggle who to take it to, because, I didn't know if they would be honest with me about what is wrong, have an honest price, and not try to nickel and dime me at every corner. Since coming across the Transmission Doctor in Alachua, I have nothing but peace of mind knowing that I can take my car or have my car towed to their facility, get a full evaluation, and get spoken at length about the best options, EVEN if those options don't make them any money. I also am reassured and not made to feel bad if I choose to wait. They are honest with what is serious and what should be seen maybe in the next few months. They are kind every time I have had an interaction, and the environment/ staff has a family feel that I am talking to a knowledgeable friend not a crook trying to make a quick buck. Thank goodness for a trustworthy and knowledgeable shop in the High Springs area! I was taking my F150 Power Stroke (diesel) to Ford Chiefland for maintenance. However, the last two visits made me vow to never return. First, they didn’t have a technician who knew how to do an oil change on my truck since it’s diesel and I had to wait three hours for one to come and do it. The second time, they screwed up the oil change somehow and ended up having to redo it and replace my skid plate due to it being saturated in oil. So, I decided to start using Ford Gainesville. Anyway, I called Ford Gainesville for a quote on new rear breaks and rotors for my truck. They quoted me $980.00 with a three to five day turn around time. My husband ended up calling Transmission Doctor who has done excellent work on his Mustang in the past. They quoted us around $600 and said it would be done in a day or two. I dropped my truck off at 7:00 PM on Thursday and we received a call at 3:00 PM the following day telling us that it was ready! Our invoice? $560.00!!! They even provided a thorough review of my truck’s “health” at no additional charge and topped off my windshield wiper fluid. So, in the end, what I paid was far cheaper than what they quoted AND it took less than 24 hours. Their customer service skills are also on point, which is something that both Ford dealerships seriously struggle with. They also offer the convenience of after hours drop off and pick up! You guys rock and we’ll continue to bring all our vehicles to you moving forward. Thank you so much!

Expert advice and great communication and service!

I had three shop trying to find the problem with my vehicle, and then they went Way beyond other shops to find and solve my problem. They took their time and patience with combine experience they solved my electrical problem I would recommend them to anybody if they have problems with their vehicles if they cannot solve their own problems.

If I could recommend any shop it’s them. We were on our way back to Indiana and needed immediate work done and they got it done same day. Even though we had to sit at the shop essentially all day until close it felt cozy and very welcoming and I would Sit there all day again. They fixed our issue and then some. Very thankful and blessed to have found these guys !

They did a great job on my bus and will be doing much more business with them. Great work and even better customer service!
