I had an overheating transmission. I took it to another shop who told me that my transmission was bad and I needed a new one. If they could have gotten me one in a few days I would have given them $7000 for the repair. Since they couldn’t get one for two weeks, I decided to take it for a second opinion to Transmission Dr. Lonnie and Tracey went above and beyond to help me get my service vehicle back on the road. They discovered a problem that was caused by the other shop and repaired my transmission instead of having to replace it. Can’t say enough about this great shop and great people.

I was moving up north and my transmission died right outside of Alachua. I had statefarm tow it to Transmission Dr. I honestly called these guys wayyy to much and every single time Lonnie was super professional with me. Answered every question and concern and made sure my truck was taken care of. He gave me options for what the outcome was and what paths we could take next. They had it done sooner than I expected and now I have a good transmission with a nice warranty. Even though I'm in Tennessee now, I recommend these guys for anyone around the Gainesville/Alachua area. 5/5 Customer service 5/5 Quality of work
